Best Season to Visit Kanha & Bandhavgarh National Park Forest:
February to June although cool season, October to February is much more comfortable and still very good for wildlife. The park is closed from July 01 to October 15 because of the monsoon. There is 3 Core Zones in Bandhavgarh (Tala Zone is Premium Zone) to visit – Tala Zone, Maghadhi Zone and Khitauli Zone. There is 1 buffer Zone also where you can see Cheshpur Water Fall in Johila River and in Kanha National Park there are 4 core are – Kanha(Kanha Zone is Premium Zone), Kisli, Sarahi, Mukki and 1 Buffer Zone - Khitauli. Wildlife sightings are good all over the preserve. One needs to book park entry in advance and arrange for gypsy as early as possible especially during the holiday season and festivals like Holi, Diwali, Dusshehra, New Year, Weekends. Important and Necessary Information for Jungle Safari Kanha Bandhavgarh National Park:
Rates are applicable from 16th October to 30th June Bandhavgarh. Rates for foreigners shall be applicable if person of mixed nationalities travel in a vehicle. Hence whence making travel plans to Bandhavgarh please check availability and prices with us. Jungle will be close on Holi Festival. Maximum 06 visitors are allowed in single ticket/vehicle, excluding driver & guide. Only those Visitors are allowed in Jeep Safari whose name mentioned on pre booked ticket. Share is allowed on extra payment in the jeep for Jungle Safari. Children below 05 years will be allowed in the Jeep along with adults - free of cost.
Due to meager no. of safaris, you are strongly advised to book safari almost 120 days before to avoid any inconvenience
